Pretty much anything by Laura Mercier. Occasionally I'll get something from Bobbi Brown or Mac, but everything else is from Laura.

I love Avon stuff! :)

I recently got a Hard Candy "lunchbox" with a whole bunch of different things in it from Sephora. Great stuff and the price was right. :)

Bobbi Brown shimmerbricks are the shit. I just got the beige one and I love it -- it's great on cheeks and eyes.

I use mainly MAC and Benefit. I Love my aquadisiac eyeshadow such a cool color.

Jill1228 03-15-2005 07:25 PM

What she said! I am a MAC Momma!
Mr. 1228 knows what gifts to give me: A GC to Lush or a trip to the MAC counter.

Also ditto to Munchkin

I use the Clinique moisturizer for my face because it gets really dry. Other than that, it's all MAC all the time.

I am not very loyal.

I have never met a cosmetic that I didn't like. Maybe a color or something though

I don't discriminate either...I buy it all...Drugstore kinds, expensive kinds, Sephora, the dollar store lipgloss...you name it.

If I could only have 10 things on a deserted island:
(I couldn't narrow it to 3 or even 5)

1. Clinique perfectly real makeup
2.Lancome dual finish powder
3. Revlon skinlights concealer
4. Elizabeth arden creme shadow (Beach girl)
5. Estee Lauder lipgloss (praline)
6 Revlon wet/dry eyeliner
7. L'oeral Voluminous mascara
8. Rimmel all over pencil (faith)
9. Mac blush in Revenge (discontinued  )
10. Lancome eyeshadow (bronze)

And that doesn't even count my skincare.

Has anyone ever used the Olay Regenerist Serums? Are they comparable to lancome Sensation Totale and Estee lauder Idealist?

AngelGal34 03-16-2005 05:59 AM

I can't live with out MAC. Especially my lipglass in love child.

Unregistered- 03-16-2005 06:25 AM

I could never stand MAC lip gloss. They always dry my lips and I hate it.

The only thing constant in my makeup bag is my MAC Studio NC43.

I am not discriminate when it comes to makeup. In my experience, the el cheapo stuff has worked/looked better than some of the high end name brand shit some of you guys mentioned.

I have absolutely no brand loyalty when it comes to cosmetics. I buy what looks good and lasts.

I use the Clinique 3-step skin care system - actually I use only the first two steps, because moisturizer does my skin more harm than good.

Most days, I just throw on some lipgloss (Prescriptives or Revlon) and run out the door.

When I do feel like wearing full makeup:
- Neutrogena or MAC foundation (I like Neutrogena because it's SPF 20)
- Eyeshadow: Estee Lauder, MAC, or Clinique
- Lipstick: I have these "mood matcher" lipsticks (please don't laugh!) They supposedly turn different shades of red or pink depending on your mood  I like them because they stay on FOREVER. A perfect example of good makeup you'll only find in a drugstore.

I could live without any of that stuff if I had to... but don't take away my lipgloss :)

No one has tried the Olay Regenerist Serum or the L'Oreal one? I can't remember the name?

I was wondering if they are compareable to Estee Lauder Idealist or Lancome Sensation Totale.

Honeykiss1974 03-17-2005 09:48 AM

I'm a Lancome lady myself. :)

Although my latest passion are these lip glosses that smell/taste like candies, such Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, Sugar Daddies, Hershey's chocolcate, etc. :D

Kisses are so much sweeter.

I have no brand loyalty but recently, I can't get along without my Oil of Olay moisturizer. It provides just the right amount of help for my face. Girls make fun of me b/c they say it's old lady moisturizer but my skin looks good (except during that time of the month ;) ) so I'm happy.

I also loooove my Neutrogena clear lip gloss. I put it on over any lipstick & it looks amazing.

If you go to Olay's website, you can get a free sample.

I LOVE Lancome's Sensation Totale. It's just so freakin' expensive!

Ever since a trip to the Sephora in Times Square back in 1999, I have been pretty loyal to benefit products although I buy most of the products online now since I know which ones I like and they send lots of free samples when they ship your order; and if you sign up for emails, you get lots of special offers.

benefit products I use more regularly:

BAD gal Lash
F.Y... Eye (eye shadow base - keeps the shadow on longer)
ohh la lift (under eye depuffer)
lip plump
play sticks (foundation)
it stick (concealer)
high beam (with the foundation, gives a glow)
glamourette (a powder, blush, lipstick combo)

I also like l'oreal double extend mascara, almay clear complexion powders, and vincent longo lip palettes.
