it tastes like a mixture of cherry coke and. dr. pepper with just a hint of vanilla. Which is good, IMO, b/c i'm not a huge fan of the vanilla colas.

I think it tastes just like Diet Dr. Pepper.

I like the cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper. I prefer regular, though. But it's not that bad :)

Anyone mixing up martinis? I'll take one :p

roqueemae 03-13-2005 10:14 PM

That just seems like too many flavors in one drink.

Jill1228 03-13-2005 11:38 PM

Beer and soft drinks all around and I have mild, medium and hot wings! I make some killer honey garlic ones too ;)

Dionysus 03-13-2005 11:48 PM

How do you eat your jellybeans? One at a time to get the flavors or by the hand-full?

I have to eat mine by the color. I also save the "best" color for last!

I have some pecans I can share, since ZetaPhi708 already has the popcorn!

bekibug 03-16-2005 04:12 PM

/is poor
//is sortof dieting, more like trying to generally eat healthy
///but would still like a hot wing or two

The first thing you should notice about this is that all three are undoubtedly exemplary organizations. You'd probably have an outstanding experience and develop a strong sense of real brotherhood in any of them. The second thing you should notice is that you clearly need to investigate your options more (otherwise you'd have already made your decision).

When I was going through rush, I was certain that I had made up my mind about the GLO I wanted to pledge. During a conversation I had with one of the senior members, he suggested to me that since the responsibility you take upon yourself as a member of a fraternity is life-long, it's imperative that you consider all of your options to be sure you are making an informed decision. I checked out several of the other chapters on campus (some more closely than others), and found a lot of respect for one of the other chapters before finally making my decision. In investigating all of my options, I realized two very important facts: 1) there are many GLOs on campus, each of which has their particular strengths, and 2) my original decision was still the best decision. It was this research that served in part to strengthen my attachment for my Fraternity and my brothers.

A's i love the smooth grind steppin but i cant stand AKAs. Sigmas................... man they make me snore at step shows... but they fly with they steps.

GLOs can differ from chapter to chapter and from campus to campus. One would do well to exercise caution when making statements such as these to avoid unnecessarily burning bridges. Having such reservations about any particular GLO is one thing, expressing them publicly is another.

Since your profile indicates you're currently 15 years old (with your 16th arriving next month), you've got a few years in which to make up your mind. I would recommend taking the opportunity to meet the members of the chapters you're considering joining and getting to know the kind of atmosphere and strengths each can provide. Ultimately, the choice of which fraternity to rush should be made by you and no one else. The only other point you'll want to consider is that every GLO prefers brothers who earn grades commensurate with their abilities. Concentrate on succeeding in school, and success in Greek life will surely follow. Good luck!

Very impressive response. I felt the same way about Phi Mu when I pledged.
