Theta Chants and Songs
 

Is this how you bump? To get the conversation going again?
I'm particularly interested in songs sung at Alpha Omicron, University of Oklahoma because in reading these posts I find that different chapters sing different songs.

Here's 2 more I can remember (though not from the U of OK chapter)...

We did this one as our entrance song to Preference.
One in love, and Theta friendship true

This one was a big sisterhood/candlelight song:

Any specific song(s) sung at candle passings? We have TWO engaged members and it's been quite a while since we've done a candle passing. Everyone is quite excited and for the life of me, I cannot recall what we sang but I do not think it was "Remember".

Can anyone write out the lyrics to "Boom boom for the girls we love?" We're having a hard time remembering them and the actives who used to sing it are graduated now...

Not exactly the "boom boom" I remember (although parts are the same) but then, things have evolved and changed over the years:

prettyv, I'll search song books next time I'm at the chapter and if I find Boom Boom, I will photocopy the page(s) that has/have the actual "boom boom" song and music. The chant is added. I can hear the song in my head now (ear worm!).

There are a LOT of songs that are no longer sung; some are very "dated". It's like the hymns that are no longer sung in many church services today. Styles change.

We always sang "Remember" and "Theta Kite" and "One in Love" for candlelights. We just sang all 3 over and over until the candle was blown out.

We do this for our pref night in recruitment. I <3 it so much. :)

Anybody have all the words the Theta chant with the Dr. Pepper ad melody? I saw it in a video from HQ and it will drive me crazy until I can sing it all. Please save me?
