While some may consider it "rude" to knock on someone's door at 10:30 pm, you can't sue someone for being rude. If so, man, would I be the plaintiff in a lot of lawsuits!

I think the neighbor is incredibly bitchy, especially after turning down the family's offer to pay her expenses. She's probably the neighborhood witch, who needed some cheer in her life....

So, the lady won the lawsuit and was awarded somewhere in the range of $900. The families are going to pay with no appeal.

Check this out though! Neal Boortz (ok, so I know many of you may not like the man) has arranged for the girls to go on an all-expenses paid trip to Disney World. Listeners in Atlanta are footing the bill as far as I've heard, though I'm not sure that it's ONLY Atlantans doing it. I know the girls' hearts were in the right place and I think it's wonderful that their kindness is not going unrewarded.

Um, you do that in the burbs all the time, in my very nice neighborhood, which is very close to an expressway.

This woman's husband now has a restraining order against him because he has been making harassing phone calls. This is over some cookies! There are some crazy people out there.....
