Their Beta chapter is at the University of Minnesota. It was a bit confusing when I was there, because SAEPi and SGRho both use blue and gold, and both go by "Sigmas".

OK, why would they even think of doing a fraternity themed show in the United Kingdom, where Greek Life doesn't even exist outside of a few alumni chapters? Doesn't that make GLOs look worse than in North America?

Yeah except that things that they showed on TV were blatant hazing, so it wasn't exactly a positive experience for the Greek community in general. I know I get sick of telling people that no, my sorority doesn't do any of that stuff, and yes, I am the same girl that I was in high school that would never put up with any of that sh*t. :rolleyes:

Absolutely not. Even MTV isn't stupid enough to make up a fraternity and pass it off as reality. Just because it's not IFC or NPC doesn't mean it's not real. :rolleyes:

We have been over this trillions of times on GC.

Local sororities are not bound to NPC hazing rules which are ridiculously strict. Just because your national told you it's hazing doesn't make it hazing in the eyes of the law.

The last season in particular, I can't recall any "hazing" that went on even under NPC type guidelines...it was really pretty boring since the group was more discreet than the first two, which is probably why the show got cancelled.

Dirty Sanchez...okay I saw a shirt that had a pic of a girl with something brown above her lip, like a milk mustache but brown and under the pic were the words"Got Sanchez" does this have anything to do with Dirty Sanchez?

I don't think that's what he was saying. I think he thought that they just got a bunch of actors together to pretend to be in a fraternity or sorority, or to get some kids at a school to make it up so they could pass it off as real.

It's an interesting thought at the very least. I never thought that, but I also didn't watch the show that much.

I don't know who Dirty Sanchez is. I think I am getting old! Anyway, MTV and Greek Life again, I don't think so!
