Maybe not enough emphasis placed on grades and to Much Lets have fun!:(

Even if a small Chapter, how in the hell do they stay in school as students or be allowed to be a current Chapter! :(

Actually it was Omega Psi Phi but I agree with everything else you said.

The AEPhi's had a 3.532. WOW! That's more that twice the Omega's GPA.

Another possibility: they may all be varsity athletes. U FL and most other majors have special deals for them.

Kappa Delta was ranked #4 out of the sororities. I'm not sure what the chapter GPA was.

Think About Chapter Size

Also It is important to think about Chapter Size. Being that it is an NPHC organization, those groups are smaller by their history and nature. It is not a chapter of 150 men that we are talking about. It is much easier to have a low GPA if only a handfull are used for the calculation.

According to the UFL NPHC website Omega has 3 members. Much easier to skew a calculation with a few men.

It's a pitiful GPA for anyone, regardless of the size of chapter. It's not like it was a 2.5... then maybe I could take the argument of one person taking it down. It was a 1.640.

This is not a new phenomenon.

I mean I know we're not at Devry like some of you and rocking the GPA there, but, seriously, when can I start bragging?

Re: Athletes?

With that low of a GPA, I would hope varsity athletes would be ineligible to play!!!

Good luck with THAT!

This could also come from guys not signing their 'grade release form' on time and so they come up in the calculation as having a '0.0' no matter what their true GPA. Not that this has ever happened to our chapter...
