I don't think that I have ever given my boyfriend a Valentine's Day gift. Maybe a card and some candy, but not a present. He gives me presents for my birthday and Valentine's Day since my birthday is Feb 13th. It's a two for one type of deal, but the presents are good like jewelry and a cruise. :)

I don't see what the big deal about Valentine's Day is. No, honestly. Why not do something special and show appreciation for the one you love whenever the mood strikes you and not because Hallmark or society pressures you to? If you see something they like and it is a Wednesday, give it to them ebcause it is a Wednesday and you love them.
(I give gifts like sporting goods, beer, and gas BBQs though, so maybe it is just the guys I date and our gifts are always thoughtful and practical, like waking up in the morning and realizing he came over to remove snow and ice from my car and brought me breakfast so we could spend time together instead of me having to do that before school/work) Buttonz~ you live in a huge metropolitan area. I know you can find a store somewhere. I live 10 miles from the middle of nowhere and even in my town I could find those items in your size. I bet Russ, ZTAMich, or Cream could ask around if they don't have any suggestions. |

mesh and fishnets? I'd guess a good place to go would be Fredricks of Hollywood... or just the internet

Okay....wow.
1. I would love tickets to a sports game for V-Day....he wouldn't. I'm the one into sports. 2. He actually didnt mind at all when I gave him a teddy bear for our one month because it fit our relatonship [oerfectly. An d iit is ALWAYS out even when I'm not around (and yes, I have heard that from other people thats how I know) 3. Both of us have picked up random 'just because' gifts all the time. |
He's gay. You just haven't realized it yet lol.

If you don't like the suggestions being made you probably have a good idea of what you do want to get him.
I personally think I've decided on my gift to the BF: http://a1204.g.akamai.net/7/1204/140...00/7222291.jpg |

I don't have to give my boyfriend anything for Valentine's Day because he said it's a day for women to receive gifts, not give them. WOOHOO!

Take a bath with him...
It's amazing what Mr. Bubble will do for you... Besides, it will be rather corny, but extremely romantic... And it will be good, clean sex afterwards... |

I'm laughing at the scene that would erupt if I attempted to cram into a tub with the boy who is almost a foot taller than I. ha ha ha ha.... ETA: Best gift ever? A trip to Good Vibrations :-) |

He said the same and I disagree with him, lol! :P |
OK I need an idea on what to get my guy. I am moving to NY on thursday so we won't be together on v-day. I wanted to send him something besides a card. Any ideas? I wouldn't send him flowers or anything stupid like that. But what can you send a guy?
He was saying that he wanted to put a picture of me & him in a frame, so I thought about sending him a framed pic of us along with some candy and stuff that I know he likes and a nice card. Lingerie is out of the question unless I plan on someone else wearing it since I am not going to be there. He doesn't watch movies or anything. I don't want to spend a lot of money, I just want to do something kinda nice. I realize that Valentine's day is a girl's holiday but I'd still like to do something nice. Aanyone who has ideas, please help a girl out! |
Caryn, you know what my reaction to this thread will be next time we talk. Just get him a freaking video game. You know it's something he'll like.
