I know my bf plays online poker a lot... either ultimate bet or party poker.. both sound familiar. (i could find out tomorrow)

either way, he's made about $700 total from his poker-ing. he plays really low tables but it adds up... and sometimes he'll play 2 tables at once (which gets me mad because I'm afraid it's a sign of being addicted?) although he can stop whenever he wants so I guess he's not addicted yet.

he also plays poker with the guys on the bball team....

I regularly play 3-4 tables at a time - it's not an addiction thing, it's actually a way to increase the amount you'll make per hour plus lower your variance. It's a smart way to play if you can pull it off.

I have friends who play 6-8 tables at once (playing 2 different sites) - then again, they pay their rent w/ online poker.

i like that it's easier to find action. i don't like that a lot of the newer players are so quick to say "No Limit," then quick to say you're cheating if they're on tilt. maybe you wouldn't lose so much if you took of those dumbass sunglasses.
