I'm so excited! I found out yesterday that I have been nominated for the Irish-American Scholars Exchange. This means, pending approval from the national comittee, I will be spending next spring quarter (2006) in Belfast, Northern Ireland, studying at Queens University! w00t!

Mrs. DeltAlum just won a trip for two to Ireland through the company she works with. We go at the end of April. It will be our first time there.

At the end, we're going to tack on a few days in London -- where I've been but she hasn't.

A pal I worked with years ago is Executive Producer for CNBC, Europe, so we'll spend some time with him in London.
