Let's see...

-got a promotion at work
-welcomed my first nephew
-had great visits with friends and family
-married off a few more friends and welcomed a bunch of new babies of other friends
-saw the newest Pi Phi chapter from conception to our awesome pledge class of 75 women who will be initiated next month!

First third of the year was not so good for various reasons. But it was uphill from there, and overall, I think, a pretty great year:

- spring break in New Orleans
- turning 21
- really started to get my act together for the first time since high school
- recovered from a relapse of my eating disorder . . . as much as I ever do, haha
- meeting a gazillion amazing people
- camping this summer
- getting over dumbass when he's still not over me
- actually liking my classes this semester

Now for next year: get my lazy ass a job, raise my GPA , and maybe find a decent boy. Here's to 2005!

Meh, ups and downs.

-Lost a ton of weight and kept it off
-First pro acting job
-Brand new school job that I love
-Passing Philosophy
-Got my fight certifications
-Found a church that I actually agree with (Unitarian-Universalist)
-All the fantastic people that I met in Kentucky!
-WISDOM TEETH. YUCK.

docet, theres lots more to San Antonio than that. Me and most of my friends have a blast here with lots of stuff to do that dosent involve the Alamo, the Spurs or Mexican Food.

The problem is that 1) you are living life in SA as a tourist. You dont know what there is to do here, 2) You are in the ghetto.

I will let my family know this when I go home next time but I think my mother would argue with you about the Spurs thing.

And I have to say there is no other place I would rather have mexican food :).

Yes, but as you said, i'm in the ghetto...and i'm tired of hearing about nothing but the spurs anytime I leave my dorm....I hope they lose already just so people shut up!

I've had better years. This (2005) will be one!!

(Going to a Memorial Service for a wonderful man on NYE definitely mellows one out!)

* I raised my GPA majorly.
*My goddaughter was born!
*I became a Tri Sigma.
*I reconnected with God.
*I split with a good friend of mine.
*I gained a ton of new friends who were actually people I knew, but never knew we could be so close.
*I grew up, alot.

The good news...

Elected Associate Patron of Plano Chapter #703, Order of the Eastern Star in April, installed in June. If I don't screw up, chances are very good that I will be elected Worthy Patron in 2005.

Made a formal presentation to my high school, the city library and the Greater North Miami Historical Society of my book Senior Year: Memories of the Class of 1983 of North Miami Senior High School. Even got featured in an article in The Miami Herald.

And now the bad news:

I'm tired of working temporary contract jobs, and it sucks majorly being out of work! :( Looking forward to landing a permanent job with decent benefits as I rapidly approach my 40th birthday on January 3.

My year was so-so:

Dated a loser til late spring
Started my sorority :D
Had a shitty job
Had several one night stands
Made EXCELLENT grades this semester
Made my best friend hate me forever :(
Got dumped by my ex-bff's ex-boyfriend
Got back together with my high school sweetheart
My gramma died...
Finally figured out what I wanna do with my life (LAW SCHOOL BABY!!!)

That's about it. Some REALLY bad, some really good...I like odd-numbered years better though!

*Went on vacations to: Spain, London, Florida, Denver, Vegas, and NYC

*Finally got a MINI Cooper

*Husband got an awesome new job, followed by an even awesomer new job which starts on Tuesday

*Things dramatically improved at work (and it was pretty good to begin with)

All in all, 2004 was a VERY good year.

Let's see...

*Planned a wedding
*Drank way too much during second semester
*Graduated from college with honors :)
*Realized that some people aren't worth the effort when it comes to trying to be a friend
*Looked unsuccessfully for a job for months
*Finally got a job (not one that I like by any means, but a job nontheless)
*Hated my job
*Had more job interviews
*Went to see lots of concerts (Maroon 5 twice, John Mayer, Beach Boys, Jordan Knight, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, etc.)
*Realized that while college was one of the best times of my life, I'm beyond a lot of what goes on there

It was a pretty good year, but I know this year is going to be better :) I'm getting married, hopefully I'll have a job I like soon, etc.

Hope you all have a fantabulous 2005!
