Currently in my school, we have Jealousy, Kenuassaura and Kemuassaura (brothers, but not twins), and Diamonds (yes, more than one.) One time we had twins, Johnathan and Johnathan (one was pronounced Joe-Nathan.)

Yes I totally agree. My friends and I keep a list of the culls. Not surprising its getting really long.

we had this family of little kids who would come to our pool, and they were pretty close in age. They sort of adopted my brother as their dad (they called him Daddy Scott, it was ADORABLE!), but their names were Nigel and Nijohn, Dijon and Dije' (sp?), and the oldest kid was simply Sam. All really cute kids and well behaved, but sometimes you 1) couldn't tell em apart 2) couldn't yell the right name at the right moment because their names were all so close together! You'd be trying to get Nijohn (who had a tendancy to do fron flips into 2 ft of water!) and you'd yell Nigel.

And I had a girl named "Rotunda" in my HS graduating class. Poor girl. She wasn't big, but it was a totally unfortunate name.

Funny name story:

I teach gymnastics, and twice a year we have Bring-A-Friend week, where the kids can bring a friend from school or whatever to gymnastics class. At the beginning, we go around and ask the kids what their friends' names are so that the teachers can rememer them during class.

So at our most recent Bring-A-Friend week, I'm sitting in the circle with the kids taking attendance. One of the little girls has a friend with her, and I ask her, "Hannah, can you tell us your friend's name?". Hannah says that her friend's name is Heaven. So I ask Heaven what her last name is, and she says, "Hill." This little girl's name was Heaven Hill!

The girl that I work with was standing behind them and was trying extremely hard to control her giggling!

(For those of you who don't know, Heaven Hill is a brand of extremely cheap liquor.)

Anyway, I guess the moral of the story is, don't name your kids after alcohol! I think being named Jack Daniels would be pretty hard on a boy. ;)

It always makes me think of "I Love Lucy" when Lucy is trying to decide on baby names:

Suffice it to say, the jingle from "The Nanny" where she slipped and "fell on her fanny" is ALWAYS met with roars of laughter.

Haha, the Dean of Students at the University of Pittsburgh is named Jack Daniel. It's great because he always end up quoted in the Pitt News in articles on Greek Life. :D
