I miss Jesus. :(

Jesus I was very unhappy this year and because of weather didn't go home (and I've cut out processed foods, sugar, and most flour) and I didn't bake you a birthday cake. I'm very sorry.

(no really you guys, I bake a lamb shaped 3-D cake for Christmas and call it Jesus' Birthday Cake, and I sing "Lamb of God you take away the sin of the world, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you Happy Birthday dear Jesus" usually eaten after the candlelight service because it is after midnight and technically Christmas)

I miss singing "Happy Birthday" to Jesus and getting to eat His birthday cake every year. Yes, my school was weird but at least we got cake.

I posted a happy birthday comment on your wall, did you see it?

Yes, enjoying childhood traditions of celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is A BIT WEIRD. Sorry no one ever invited you to Jesus' birthday party, which really says something because Jesus loves everyone.

May Sheetcake have mercy on your soul.

I believe Jesus appreciates a good cuppin' cake, too. (Oh - and I thought his middle name was Murphy . . . )

Birthday Party for Jesus? Blank stare @ this whole thread.

The way to express thanks to Jesus Christ is to minister in Church every sunday. To minister is to serve. Also it's important to read the word daily, and give thanks to him daily. I agree with cheers. Placing candles on a cake and singing happy birthday to Jesus is a bit strange to me too.

Jesus wants you to read the word and live your life right. The hell with some cup cake.

SWTXBelle 12-27-2008 05:40 PM

Ummmm . . . Jesus and I have it all worked out, thanks. Here, have a sense of humour. And a cup cake. I wonder if Sheetcake has a cousin, Sweet Cuppin' Cake. (www.homestarrunner.com for cuppin' cake reference)

eta - and as to the birthday thing, my cousin always has a birthday cake for Jesus. It felt "weird" at first, but I especially like the way it makes the fact that Jesus was a child just like them concrete for children.

Jesus, if I am not worshiping you correctly please let me know. I thought you came by for some cake but it was just Elijah party crashing.
