LOL is this the "Look back" ... it was like 4 years ago. Hard to believe its been that long, huh?

What are you reading right now, Skerbow? I got a lot of books at Christmas, and am ready a nice, light one: The Lost Life of Eva Braun. :eek: The whole Nazi "hey, let's commit a few atroscities, and don't forget to bring the cameras!" mentality just amazes me.

I just finished reading The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. I liked it. I think I would like to have my students read it (its actually a teen novel). I'm not sure what I'll start reading next.

I just finished The Pillars of the Earth and The World Without End which were both incredible (although both are a big commitment at 1200+ pages each)- now starting The Other Queen by Phillippa Gregory (same author who wrote The Other Boleyn Girl).

I just got The Other Boleyn Girl for Christmas (which is, I suppose, next on my reading list).

Currently reading Atonement - started reading it prior to beginning the drive cross country, so hopefully I can get back to it in the next couple of days (usually I'm good reading in the car, but it's a different story in a 16-ft Penske truck!)

I hve the OBG and haven't read it, although the movie ROCKED!

I LOVED The Pillars of the Earth & The World Without End! I forget which one I had with me when I last flew, but I ended up reading 3/4 of the book by the time we landed!

I haven't seen the movie The Other Boleyn Girl, but the book was good - inaccuracies and all. I love most of Phillipa Gregory's books, though.

I haven't read the book. But I actually didn't like the movie as much as I thought I would. To me I almost wish that Scarlett and Natalie has switched roles (that Scarlett had been Anne and Natalie had been Mary). To me, Natalie didn't bring the intensity that Anne needed and Scarlett, just made Mary so whiney, so I didn't feel sorry for her at all. Plus, I had been watching The Tudors when I finally saw OBG and I just LOVE The Tudors so I kind of kept comparing the movie to the show.


I have the book The Lady Elizabeth, which I want to start reading.
