Any Kool-Aid commercial
That stupid Pootey Tang Commercial :0 Any commercial featuring lawyers-for-hire Those poorly shot, low-budget Weight loss ads There's a place called Gallery Furniture in Houston, and the owner "Matress Mac" has had the same gimmick for years and years, he says "Gallery Furniture will save you money" and then he jumps...til this day he does this, but now he's really old, every time I see those commercials I'm afraid he'll break his hip from all that jumping. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif Any used car commerical, where the salesman tells you how far he'll go to sell you a car. OH yeah, and that commercial that goes...
"Have you ever had that not so fresh feeling?" I forget the product they were selling, but it always managed to come on when I was in the room with a male! |
Out here in Cali, they show this commercial for a jewelry store called The Diamond Center-now this man has had this same commercial playing since the late 80's and he is too cheap to make another one.
He took the song "Soul Man', and changed it to "Credit Man" to get people to apply for his store's credit card-HOW TACKY! ------------------ "Mind ya own, stay true to ya own, be ya own." Peace and God Bless *Classy_Diva5* |
They had a commercial in ATL a while back for some company that would turn your phone back on if Bell South shut it off. They had this straight up stereotypical black woman in the ad. I hated that ad. She would be like, "It wasn't my fault it was my cousin"(You have to see it to understand.) It also had the typical headbob and all of that nonsense.
I don't like the Lawyer ads either. I especially don't like when the lawyers have Hip-hop or R&B playing in the ad like we're supposed to believe that he listens to that. C'mon now. Then you actually go into the office and there is not ONE minority person working there. |

Oh, I got a couple of more:
There is a commercial that airs during the weekdays for a law firm (I was told they use the same commercial for different law firms around the country). Two lawyers are talking over lunch about a claim where their client slammed into the victim from behind. Lawyer #2 says, "I'll handle it. Who's representing this 'victim'" Lawyer #1 replies "The law offices of [insert law firm]" *Lawyer #2 chokes on his sandwich as law firm name appears on bottom of screen* He then says, "Let's settle this one" I think that is kinda bad. There is another daytime commercial with MC Hammer for this credit company. He says "You can go from 'Can't Touch This' to "Too Legit". To which I immediately reply, "You need to quit". More later RM |
I hate all the MENTOS commercials. Come on, like Mentos candy can give you the courage and strength to do everything that is done in those commercials. WHATEVAH!!!!!

Representing for the bad Chicago commercials!!! LOL But I've never seen a commercial for Harold's Also has anyone seen that new 1800-Collect Commercial with DL Hughley...where its raining and the 2 black women have just come out of the salon? It makes the two women look stereotypical and has no point to do with callling collect. |
YOU KNOW WHAT BUGS ME the MOST about those 1-800 COLLECT commercials. . .
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE REALLY OUT OF A QUARTER??? Most days people either have a cell phone or a calling card. If it is a local call, it is easy EASY EASY to bum a quarter off of someone. Only time I did collect calls was in college. Okay that is my rant for now about those stupid commercials. No it's not http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif: Have you noticed that most of the celebrities for the Collect call commercials are WSAHED UP ACTORS: Arsenio, Mr. T, Alyssa Milano. All they need now are Todd Bridges, Gary Coleman, Roseanne, etc. LOL |
My all time worst commercials are the ones done locally. There is a place that files tax returns and the name is...are you ready? Mo Money Taxes.....and their theme song is, I got the hookup holla if you hear me.
Picture this: A girl pulls up in the beauty shop in an old car while Good Times theme song is playing in the background. Good Times as in JJ, Florida Evans yall....anyway... She walks in the beauty shop complaining about not having any money and her car needs repairing. One of the customers tells her to go to Mo Money Taxes. The next day after filing the taxes she is now riding a Lexus. At the end of the commerical, a white dude says: Mo money taxes, it's on like a pot of neck bones then he says ughhhhh like Master P. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/mad.gif Can we say ghetto to the tenth power? I wonder who was the mastermind behind that trash? |
