It's all about the Powerpuff Girls for me! They and Dexter's Labaratory (sp?) are so funny because they take anime to a hilarious American level.
I also like MIB, Batman Beyond, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Recess, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I OD'ed on the Flintstones, and I can't stand them anymore, but I like most H-B cartoon characters, especially Scooby and a Pup Named Scooby Doo. ------------------ @~~^~~~~ The most beautiful thing in the world is, precisely, the conjunction of learning and inspiration. -- Wanda Landowska |
Okay, why is "Dora the Explorer" the most adorable show!!!

You really went back to the day!
my favorites: H&R PufNStuff Bugaloos Johnny Quest Huckaberry Hound Scooby Doo-I collected all the characters back in the day. Josie & Posie Cats Fat Albert Superfriends Pebbles and Bambam I Dream of Jeanne My favorite Martian Underdog Popeye current favorite pepper anne Little Bill *No they never showed the maid's face. I remember they should up to the shoulder at point. *Kid N'Play and M.C. Hammer had cartoons in the early 90's. |
The Banana Splits did come on cartoon network for like a month. It was some time recently (within the past couple of months). It came on late Friday or Saturday night (like 4am or so). It came on with some other Hanna Barbera cartoons like "Funky Phantom" and the "Hair Bears."
Did anybody watch "Jem" or "Rainbow Bright." I can hear the theme music in my head right now. I thought I was the only one that had ever seen Karate Kat-"he's a lean mean Karate machine." I LOVE the classics-Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Yogi Bear, Scooby Doo. I love Doug-the nickalodeon (sp?) version- I a kind of upset that the Cartoon Network has moved some of my other favorites ones-Yogi Bear, Yakky Duck, Huckleberry Hound, et cetera-to the Boomerang network. It took forever for the cartoon network to get to Gastonia, NC. I will probably be 30 when the cable networks here offer that channel. One more question: Does anybody remember when Yogi Bear, Paw Paw Bears, Snorkles, and one more show I can't remember used to come on Sunday mornings? It all came on with one collective title. I know the theme used to go like "Fun-Fun- Funtastic whoa!" I know somebody besides me remembers this! The Pound Puppies was another one of my favorites back in day. |
Sorry, I did not mean to post my comment twice.
