There are whiny-ass people on both sides of the debate...I'll admit there are Yankee fans I'm ashamed of, but not every Sox fan is innocent either. I also don't think there's a problem with Yanks fans posting in this thread...but maybe that's just because I am one.

Now, I don't think we have any leg to stand on right now with trash-talking; after all the Sox have won a more recent series and were the best team in baseball this year. But 4 years since a title isn't all that awful, especially when it was preceded by 3 other titles.

Congrats to the Sox on adding another ring, and congratulations to the true Sox fans out there; you all deserve being able to see a Sox series team. Next year could end up being the best year yet in the rivalry.
