laughin at this thread...

Aight now......

1. There is NO reason for you to feel comfortable wearing sandals when you know your toenails are as yellow as the sun.

2. Can we PLEASE take some time to hit the much neglected back of the foot and ankle that we seem to think DOES NOT need lotion. (That back sandal strap is bout to start a fire with all that friction)

3. AND while you are at it..don't forget to mosturize in between the toes as well.

4. Now I am by no means a skinny girl, but for the thicker sistas out there can we band together and stop the madness. Follow this motto : "Just because they make it in your size, does NOT mean that you have to wear it".

5. NOT EVERY GUY needs to wear a wife beater. If your wearing a small and it looks like an XXL...just let it go.

6. The lil strap up sandals are cute, but if you start to loose feeling in your legs from the knee down....those probably aren't for you.

7. If the fellas want to wear wife beaters can we PLEASE keep those nasty deoderant balls under your arms to a MINIMUM..it is NOT cute.

thats all for now:)

One more rule can the fellas please not wear doo rags, baseball caps, and headbands at the same time that seems to be a trend that needs to be stopped now.

Friday was the first day of spring and I already seen enough nasty feet to make me gag!

And it seems like the worse feet someone has the more they want to show it. Sandals aren't enough for them. One must go everywhere and their grandma barefoot  Chipped nails, yellow nails, hairy feet, stank feet, crusty heels, manicured toes, and just plain ugly a$$ feet by nature are propped on the car dashboard, walking to 7-11, hanging out the car windows , at church . D, girl, college ministry is not the appropiate place to walk around barefoot with long bold green rainbow glittered toenails and black soles (dang did she walk around in soot or something  ).

On a more lighter lighter note, CTFU at the many men w/ feet fetishes like my dad and brother. They be staring at feet like its T&A.

Today is the first day of spring. . .

Here are some tips I received from a poster on another message board. :)

We're just days away from Spring and if you're like me, your hands and feet have taken a beating this winter. No more hiding under boots and gloves, get those tips ready to clutch Spring's hottest handbags and those toes ready for their open-toed close-up! Follow these recipies and your hands and feet are sure to be a perfect ten — I mean twenty:).

Ingredients:

Oatmeal (uncooked)
Cocoa Butter
Cornmeal
Avocado
Honey
Almonds
Hazlenuts
Essential oils: almond, olive, vitamin E, jojoba, avocado (available at health food stores)

Tools:

Blender
Measuring cups
Measuring spoons (teaspoon and tablespoon)
Nutcracker
Moisture socks and gloves (available at drugstores)
Containers to store your new self-made treasures

Almond-Jojoba Nail & Cuticle Treatment

2 tablespoons almond oil
2 tablespoons jojoba oil
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon vitamin E oil or 3-4 vitamin E capsules broken open

Mix all ingredients and stir until texture is the consistency of syrup. Soak clean, polish-free nails in warm water for ten minutes and dry. Massage treatment into nails and cuticles. Reapply after washing hands and feet or bathing. Recipe makes enough for two hand treatments and two foot treatments. Instantly relieves dry cuticles.

Avocado Hand Rub

1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
1/4 cup oatmeal
1/4 cup almond oil
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup water

Peel avocado, dig out contents and discard the peel. Blend avocado, oatmeal, almond oil, and olive oil in blender until smooth. Reduce blender speed to low and gradually add water until paste is like pudding. Massage paste into hands in a circular motion. Rinse with tepid water and pat dry. Use weekly for best results. This made my hands feel fresh and new. As a little bonus, I used the pit of the avocado to massage my hand while I applied the cream.

Cornmeal & Pumice Foot Scrub

1/2 cup dry cornmeal
2 tablespoons avocado oil
1 pumice stone

This is the easiest of the hand and foot recipes. Mix cornmeal and avocado oil together, spread on feet, paying careful attention to calloused areas, and rub vigorously with pumice stone. Rinse when done. Leaves feet feeling soft like butter and gets rid of dead, dry, flaky skin.

Nightime Hazelnut & Honey Hand and Foot Paste

1/4 cup shelled hazelnuts or almonds
1/4 cup dry oatmeal
3 tablespoons cocoa butter
2 tablespoons honey

Place nuts in blender and chop until ground, but not powderlike. Combine oatmeal, cocoa butter, honey, and ground nuts in a bowl and mix to a wet, paste-like texture. Rub onto hands and feet and put on cotton moisture socks and gloves. Leave on overnight and rinse the next morning with cool water during shower or bath. You can substitute regular socks and gloves for moisture socks and gloves. Just be sure to use pairs you're not too worried about getting a bit dirty.

Five Tips to Keep Nails Healthy

1. Never use your nails as tools. Doing so causes weakness that leads to cracked, split and broken nails.

2. Wear rubber gloves when doing dishes or dealing with cleaning agents or other harsh chemicals.

3. Give yourself a manicure and pedicure once a week. Make them a necessity, not a luxury.

4. Massage oil onto cuticles several times a day to keep them moisturized.

5. Drink lots of water to restore the body's lost fluids.

wow! that was a serious style back then! (remember when after a while youre heel woud hurt from the strap, and when they'd come loose in youre sock?) please dont bring it back!

can we please ban shirts that have the following phrases:
  • pimp/pimpette
  • cutie
  • hottie
  • 69
  • (the year you were born)
  • princess

(yall know the rest) it is nasty and tacky. and can we extend this ban to women over 40, big stomachs, and girls under 16?

I kid y'all not. I saw a shirt the other day that said "I have a tight p*ssy"! And there was a young "lady" in the store purchasing one.

Anytime, although I am out of order today with the feet. I put on some sandals on today (it is 75 here in Memphis) and my toes are just as bare as they want to be, but my heels are not ashy. I got my manicure today during lunch and my nail lady asked when we were going to do the pedicure.

Attention All Plus Size Women: When selecting your summer outfits this year, PLEASE keep the following statement in mind:

Just because they make it in your size doesn't mean that you should wear it!!!

I am plus sized (but slowly making my way back to misses) and I know that I cannot and will not wear certain things because I know that I have ample hips. Every summer, I see women here in Saginaw who know that they have too much booty for booty shorts, too much tank for tank tops. It's insane!! Stop the madness ladies!! Plus size women don't have to relegated to the tents and the moo-moos! You can still look nice but everything is NOT for everyone!! Choose your outfits with care this summer!!

This has been a public service announcement from 9dstpm.

Ok, Mr. #1 Leading Lady was all over my shouldner on this thread and per his request he said for the summer he doesn't want to see anyone wearing Apple Bottom jeans unless they have apples.......so this truly excludes me because right now he said I am a strong grape:o
