HC I realized after I posted it that "Joint" Problems was a helluva name for a thread....meh?

Anyhow, I'm already on glucosamine & chondroitin for my knee (due to having my ACL torn and fixed 2x, along with various tendon/ligament/cartilidge surgeries), so that's good. I was on vioxx (for the same thing), but...yeah. I've found that ibuprofen doesn't do me a world of good and nothing's really been killing the pain. Just two nights ago, I called my poor dad and woke him up at 1:30 in the morning and he came over to take me to the ER. I talked him out of it, but he did stay at my house and hold ice on my shoulder (and gave me a vicodin) until 3-something. It was awful - - all through any surgery I've had and bones that I've broken, I've never been in that type of pain before.

Cream - My dad had to have surgery on both of his rotator cuffs (as did my uncle, actually), and I've seen the pain & recovery process - - not something I want to go through with, especially at the age of 21. :(
