AGDee I agree with your suggestion for government subsidies. I was under the impression that American drug companies avoided making the vaccine because of the potential for lawsuits in our sue happy society in case someone had an adverse reaction to the shot.

I had heard that part of it too wrigley, but I think there are workarounds for that too. Part of me was wondering if someone will try to sue on the behalf of a family member if they couldn't secure a flu shot and die from the flu? I'm sure someone will try...
