The very worst car I ever had was a Renault! I finally dumped it with only 26,000 miles on it - back & forth from dealer!! I kept complaining about the transmission, which was completely out of whack, and FINALLY got an "expert" from Detroit to come check it out. We went for a drive, of course it acted fine, went back to the dealer, where he snidely said, "See, it runs just fine. It's all in your imagination." He put the car in Park, it went into Reverse and hit two cars in the lot!! I smiled and said, "You think so?" As they say, revenge is a dish best served cold.
