Q-ball 12-22-2000 10:55 PM

Thanks everyone for all the responses, advice, and comments. I truely appreciate everyone's input. I do have another question to ask. Is anyone planning on attending grad school for communication? Also, what is organizational communication DST director? What career do you plan to pursue with a masters in organizational communication? I think someone asked earlier what year I was...I'm a junior. Thanks again for everyone's responses.

What school do you attend?

At my school, you are allowed to take 12 hours before you take the GMAT for admission. I guess this is for those who just want take a couple of courses for a job or to decide if grad. school is for them without coming out of pocket for tests. I plan to take the GMAT in either March or April.

I'm laughing at myself. I didn't see the quotes and I thought "That sounds like what I said."

Anywho, I go to Texas A&M University-Commerce (formally East Texas State Univ.)

I am also going to Grad School after graduation and I just feel so stressed out over all the requirements. I am trying to write a personal statement over this Christmas Break. The problem is that I am trying to figure out what else to put within the statement besides reasons why I want to go to grad school. I am wondering if anyof you have any advice. I think I may have what author's call writers block http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/confused.gif

I'm back in Houston after spending almost two weeks in Memphis. I had a great time.

I got my grades and I'm still holding on to that 4.0.

Prettygyrl, my master's program was a 33 hour program and since my bachelor's degree was also in communications, I didn't need any prerequisites for grad school.

Organizational communication deals with human and/or interpersonal communication within an organization. Communicologists in this area normally work as consultants or top level managers as strategists for effective communication within an organization. It's a broad area that will allow me to write my ticket in any organization because communication is essential no matter where you go.

That sounds interesting Director. I missed my 4.0 by one point because of an A- http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif So I have to settle for a 3.9

Doctorates (preferably ones for which you write dissertations and publish, etc.)

Bringing this back to the top. Third year in my doctoral program. Fear. Anxiety. Tired. Stressed. Nervous. Did I say anxious? Trying to get two manusripts published and take exams and still have classwork and pay the bills and...I am just overwhelmed ALL the time. Either that or I just have a range of emotions...

:) :( :o :D :p

Holla if ya hear me!!!!!

Any others out there?

I don't get it. I replied to this post yesterday thinking it would go back to the top and it's still lost in the archives. What gives?
