They do show Bobby holding a picture of the boys' mom in the first episode - Mike tells Bobby he doesn't want him to forget his mom and neither does Carol, so we're to assume that she died.

What happened to Mr Martin - Carol's first husband - is never specified. I think the creators had in mind that she was divorced, but that was back in the day when you didn't mention divorce on TV, so it was never brought up.

"Babytalk, babytalk, it's a wonder you can walk!" :D

Slightly off topic, but I LOVED the Brady Bunch Movies! I thought Gary Cole did an incredible job as Mike Brady and Shelley Long was great as Carol.

It was also funny how they mentioned that it was if Christine Taylor was *BORN* to play Marcia Brady. Maureen McCormick actually had to step back because she thought she was watching herself.

"You got to be in love...to love a love song..."

Am I evil because I'd like to see an episode where the former Mrs. Brady gets together with Mr. Martin, and they hire an attorney to get custody of the kids?

Did I say that?

Is it an actual episode or a Brady special?

Remember when the kids are older (post the Silver Platters) when they are singing on blocks and Greg/Marcia are together, Peter/Jan are togther and Bobby/Cindy are?

What episode was that and what are the lyrics of that song?

I always thought Marcia looked so pretty.

And still does.

Thanks.

Were they wearing orange?

If so, it was the Johnny Bravo episode--there was a Pop Up Video for it!

Let me hear some of that good time music,
That I love to hear.
I've got plenty of blues,
And sort of bad news.
And I need to buy me some cheer.

There's no sense of walking around with your feet stuck to the ground.
It's much better to put yourself together,
Create a lot of vibes and good cheer for humanity.
That's fine with me.

Every time I see that episode, I crack up laughing because I remember my next door neighbor's big brother imitating the dance. May I add that he looked like Brian Wilson during the "Smile" recording years.

Hey man, have you ever tried doing the dance to that song? It's quite hard...all that clapping and swinging to the side...quite complex!

"Mom always said don't play ball in the house..."
"Ow, my nose"
"Marcia, MARCIA, MARCIA!!!

But my favorite is the "Davy Jones" episode with the "ugly duckling" girl who tries to out do Marcia for... Davy Jones??? Was he still big then??? All Marcia did was get the girl some contacts and dress her up a little, but then she was HOT!!!

These are the lyrics to "React Positively", a song that I haven't been able to get out of my head since my first post in this thread. :-D
