Newest news:

Chas "should" be attending our Ritual this weekend. Everyone who knew him is really looking forward to it. Apparently he also has a speaking engagment about his ordeal to a group of doctors and patients soon. He is making great strides towards recovery.

Thank you everyone for all your concern.

There will be someone from the GHZ there. Doc Smith our Grand High Phi and his little brother who was the former Grand High Sigma.

Brother Smith ROCKS. He gave a great keynote at UIW's chartering. Such a cool person to hang with.

Am so glad Chaz is doing better. Please pass out thoughts and words on to him.

Will do.
Were lucky to have Doc.s Smith and Dirghalli around here. Doc Dirghalli is the only person I know who can watch an entire ritual and then tell you when you missed a pause. Amazing Individuals, both of them.

Good to hear that Chas is doing alright. Had the pleasure of meeting him and John Malanchuk at GA in Denver. Great guys, they can sure drink. I actually have a picture of Chas with former grand high alpha Marty Smith's daughters and current grand high alpha ted grossnickles daughter. Wish him the best in his recovery.

I don't know of many things more powerful than seeing Chas at our Ritual this weekend. Being that it was my last as an Undergrad and I'm one of the few people left that remember him as an active, I was tearyed every time I saw him. He still remembers all of ritual and loved being here.
We also were able to share our ritual with three actives from Washington and two from UAB. Four years of memories for me and this may have been the best yet...

Regrets

I regret hat I was unable to make the trek to Florida. There are several things going on right now that make getting away difficult. Perhaps next time.

What a difference a year makes...

BUMP

How awesome it was to see Chas at Leadership Seminar! How far he's come in a year. Hes walking normally, funny as he always was and is an ABSOLUTE INSPIRATION. He came to the sharing of the brotherhood and told us a story about his recovery and moved all of us to tears. I'll carrry that story with me forever. (I wont share it here, but if you're interested, PM me) He is an amazing person.

I also told him that there were a lot of people online that he had never met who were pulling for him here on GC.

Amazing how far he's come in such a short time...

AT LS?

No clue he was there. I wish that I had known that he was attending. For all I know he may have been in on of my Risk Management sessions!
