Recruiting athletes
 

Thats amazing that FSU is able to recruit that many varsity athletes. At Coastal Carolina, most coaches will not let their athletes pledge at all. The football players are told not to go greek. Luckily for us the only football player that is greek is a Pike pledge. We also added some pledges on the Rugby team. Like firehouse said, it is a little easier to recruit athletes once you get a couple of them. The one Rugby pledge we got this semester has already got about 8 rugby players interested in Pike next semester.

We all need to make sure that we are training our pledge classes on how to recruit while they are pledging. It is a great tool for a good spring rush. What we do is make them turn in a list of 20-30 guys they know that are interested in Pike next semester. It is one of the main requirements we give them before being initiated.

We got 7 guys this fall, which is not bad at Morehead State. These guy are real quality guys! They are highly motivated and want to do what they can to become what it is to be a Pike!

Alpha Zeta - University of Arkansas we got 45 this year.....congrats to all for their numbers
