Inappropriate?? If that's true, I honestly had no idea.

I wasn't aware it was inappropriate to share your line name(not its meaning,just the name) because I have greek friends who will readily share this information, and better yet, most 'nalia worn by greeks displays this name for all to see! However if I was wrong for broaching this topic, I do apologize.

Someone on another forum set me straight when they said that "discussing 'line names' was not approriate....they were rather personal". This is a fact that I knew but didn't realize was such a big deal. Can someone PLEASE fill me in on this? I'm always seeking new knowledge and attempt to be P.C. Thank you in advance.
