Yeah, but the quality of the 'all you can eat' buffets vary greatly in price and quality. Some of 'em are pricey but worth the wait in line, some are reasonably priced but good, and others are overpriced slop troughs.

I tend to like the 'Feast' buffets at Texas Station and Palace Station (disclaimer: my younger brother works for Palace Station, but not in the food department) and the buffet at the Rio.

But the owner was well within his rights to determine what happened on his casino's stage. The 1st Amendment doesn't protect that kind of stuff.
I agree with everything that ktsnake said, especially this part. I get so sick of hearing people invoke the 1st Amendment when there's a boycott or even just a disagreement that doesn't involve the government. The 1st Amendment protects citizens from government interference with free speech, etc. If the police had stopped Linda Rondstadt from expressing her views, that would be a 1st Amendment violation. If a private business owner doesn't want someone expressing her views on his property, that is not a 1st Amendment violation. Linda Rondstadt and the Dixie Chicks have every right to express their views, and private citizens have every right to disagree with those views and leave the show, not buy CDs, etc., and none of it violates the 1st Amendment without some goverment involvement.

Sheesh, didn't anyone ever watch Schoolhouse Rock?

the response letter has grammatical errors. unless someone retyped it and didn't just copy and paste, i doubt it's a real letter. and i would be surprised that a business owner would use profanity in a letter that many people will read and will be well-publicized.

but then again...maybe he is just the moron that he proved himself to be when he kicked linda out.

Agreed that the letter is probably a hoax.

But why do you call him a moron for kicking Linda out? Explain how that was in some way moronic.

**bump**

It's official, this is a hoax.

http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/timmins.asp

"Mr. Timmins' statements prompted an open letter to him from Michael Moore, which the filmmaker posted on his web site. However, although Mr. Moore's letter was real, the putative caustic response to it from Mr. Timmins quoted above is not — it was a "Here's what I wish he had said" suggested reply penned by someone else. "

Way to go, AlphaSigOU, and everyone else declaring the casino owner to be "unprofessional" or "moron", etc. How dumb are we feeling today? LOL

Add this to the list of reasons why when you get an outlandish email exhorting you to PASS THIS ON TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW!!! IT'S IMPORTANT!!! - that it's probably a load of crap.

Eh, it happens to the best of us - what can you do.

Brought up some interesting conversation if nothing else.

I think everyone is overlooking the most rediculous and incredible part of Michael Moore's letter:

"....Linda Ronstadt, one of America's greatest singers...

Now, that's what should be getting people up in arms.

USA Today
Andy Dick
Polyphonic ring tones
Trucker Hats

And Finally...

Every male wanna be pop band ever that came after Green Day that sounds exactly like them. there hasnt been a new song in that genre in about 4 years.

Cheapest one doesn't necessarily mean better. :) I already mentioned a couple of 'em in an earlier post on this thread (scroll up, bud! :D).

Better yet, here's a web site discussing Las Vegas buffets: http://www.vegasbuffets.com/

And another one... http://www.a2zlasvegas.com/food/buf-list.php3
