Just wanted to share that my little legacy (she's 3) sings Little ADPi since I've used it frequently while singing to her.

Now all I have to do is raise her, get her to a school w/ a chapter & make sure they sing it to her on pref night so she'll cry & pledge the chapter because it brings back all her wonderful memories of childhood...yea, that's how it will work....I'll let you know in 15 years how it turns out. hee hee..

I sing that to my little legacy in my stomach! Yes, I am a dork!!!

I just watched True Life: I'm Adopted on MTV. God bless the mother's that can give their babies up for adoption so the baby can live a better life. I could never do that!

I recommend getting the ADPi CD to play for your legacies! My daughter loves it!

This is so exciting hearing all this baby news! I will join in the prayers for everyone to deliver safely.

Keep us posted, sisters! No detail is too small - maybe some would be too gross, but none would be too small! hee hee

I have to agree that those who are expecting need to keep us up to date... The ironic part of this thread coming up is that I thought (only a month after being married) that I might be pregnant... I too have the baby fever, but right now is not the most handy time... I am not, but I didn't find that out until after I read this thread... So weird...

Co-sign!

If it's not my time to be expecting my own legacy (and it's *definitely* not), then I can most assuredly look forward to sisters who are expecting their own! :)

Me too, me too! I need to wait until November or December to try anything though.
So if my DH and I should, by the grace of God, be blessed with success, how far along will everyone else be then?
I probably wouldn't make any announcements until Januaryish.

I am due on January 17th, so if you start trying in November or December, you could find out around the same time I have my baby!! I wish tomorrow was January 17th .... :)

I'm due Feb. 18th, but we will have the baby around the 5th. :)

I was adopted @ 3 weeks old. My birth mother was 16 when she had me. I cannot imagine how hard it was for her to do that, but I am thankful she made the sacrafice so I could have a better life. :)

Amanda, it makes my heart smile to hear such a mature outlook on your adoption. :) I wish all adopted children could understand and accept the same feelings.

Thanks!!!! It was a blessing that she put me up for adoption. I'm glad she was mature enough at 16 years old to realize that she was not financially, emotionally, or physically ready to handle a child. I may not be where I am today if she had not realized that. Unforunately, I have not found birth mother or birth father. I have started the process, but it is a very tideous process.
