All of my chapters start within the next couple of weeks!

My first result :) Delta Kappa at University of Florida got quota +3 for 59 wonderful new Deephers!!

FAU, aren't you in the midst of recruitment? Others should start soon :)

as i get updates from them, i'll share them w/ you all...

BTW- from what the girls have told me, this is the BIGGEST recruitment EVER for both chapters...
(they are anticipating pledge classes of around 25-35 girls)

i can't wait 'till friday so i can drop in on FAU's pref night! :D

I'm so nervous for my chapter (eta)! (excited nervous!) Recruitment is this coming weekend but I'm inactive this semester so I can't be there which is sooo disappointing! I used to hate hate hate recruitment time because its so scary sometimes, but after being on the sister side of 5 recruitments, I've come to really enjoy it. I can't wait to see how we do and how all the other chapters do!!

well. we dont even know if we are going to have a fall recruitment anymore. They still do not know when FAU is set to re-open. We got half-way through recruitment and then Wednesday, after the room was set up and the girls were set to enter, recruitment was called off due to the hurricane. It was pushed to this week, but then school is not open. Next week is the Jewish holiday. The Live Oak (where rush is held) is reserved for the rest of the semester, so right now panhellenic is trying to fund rooms and dates for recruitment. You can imagine how much this sucks.. I worked my butt off all summer on this, only to have it end up in the air. Anyway, we just now got power back so I wanted to give you all an update on our rush

They can't just up and cancel recruitment, can they? Jeez!!! Call your MRA :)

Well, I'm stressed...but too excited to feel it!!

Last year they had 35 girls sign up for formal recruitment.
Today over 60 girls will go through rush! We are so happy and running around like crazy buying extra stuff and ordering more food.
