I dated a nerdy engineering student one year in undergrad at NC State. He was 23 and I was his first girlfriend. And he had a shirt that said "there's no place like 127.0.0.1" or something. And he's def. in the top 3 for best boyfriend I ever ever had.

Nerds LOVE being good to their girlfriends. At least in my experience! My nerd was so smitten he'd actually LEAVE the LAB to take me out. On a TUESDAY. That's how you know it's true love.

I married an enginerd farmer wannabe. Beat that. Ha!!

But he didn't go to Iowa State.

I know, dammit. It was touch-and-go there for a while if I could even marry him.

He's gotten me as far as the parking lots for Kinnick but I don't know if I can step inside. I'd just rather drown my sorrows outside the stadium than have to watch the slaughter inside.
