Not to get off the subject, but they use "sigma krappa" at my school too. kind of funny though it makes me want to start a thread where you list unofficial nicknames for your org :)
no disrespect of course :) |

I just want to offer my support to you girls that you find these twisted jerks and they get what they deserve! |
Yeah i figured that someone had to have that idea before, so I looked it up.
|
im sorry that happened to ure house, but there must be some really jealous people out there to actually do that to u guys.
like they say, jealousy is a sickness..get well soon.. when u guys find outwho it is that did it, send them a get well card |
You and the rest of the sisters are in my thoughts, that's just simply awful. :(
And this is not the time to be throwing around crass nicknames for our chapter, or anyone else's for that matter. But thanks for playing. |
There's never a good reason to do something like this and I am sure eventually *hopefully* the person(s) will be caught. I remember when I was a new member, a few sisters had their tires slashed in front of our house. It turned out to be an ex of one of the sister's who was mad she started dating someone new and he retaliated against her and her closest friends in the sorority. I hope you girls find out who did it and make sure they are made an example of.

Well...
Again, sorry to be so blunt, but being in our Greek system myself... I definitely do not think it's jealousy...
Someone must have plain and simple pissed someone off... |

Thanks for your opinion. I'm sure the girls will keep it in mind. But honestly, it doesn't matter the reason. Only the people who committed this crime can say for sure. And I hope that some of the other Greek organizations on campus reach out to these girls so maybe you'll become a closer Greek population. Make something good happen out of this awful experience. |
We had a similar type of action made against us as well recently. Our house and the Alpha Gamma Rho house both had signs and other stuff stolen one night. The Pikes & Sig Eps are known to pull these kind of pranks on our campus. Also, the Kappa Sigmas or someone that claims to be one is also posting immature, negative comments on our chapter's internet forum.
It's pointless, it makes the entire Greek system look bad. I have encouraged fellow brothers to not retaliate because it does no good. We are supposed to be leaders on campus, right? I guess some still enjoy acting like children. I am pushing the campus to allow myself to establish a special security/escort service that will also keep an eye out for this kind of activity. An old friend from WKU did this back in his day and actually saved a woman's life from a serial killer/rapist. |
What this person or these people did is absolutely disturbing! It is also very inexcusable!
I hope the police catch the culprit(s) and bring him/her/them to justice. |
I'm so sorry this happened to you and your sisters. :( Hopefully whoever did this will be brought to justice.
|
Sorry to hear about that.
|
We have come to the conclusion that it was specifically aimed at one person in particular but the culprit decided to vandalize everything. We think we know who it might be but have no proof.
I do believe that whomever did this does have a grudge against a particular person & not the chapter as a whole. This does not make it right but everyone is entitled to their opinion about us on campus. Thanks to all of you who have offered your support. |
I can totally relate to your story. Last year during fall formal recruitment, a group of people went all over our campus writing "EAT sucks". Our campus is miles long and wide and they did not seem to miss any spots. They even went to our off-campus house and wrote it on the sidewalk there. It was done during one of our phases and all the sisters spent the night going from one end of campus to another pouring water to try and erase the words. Unfortunately we missed a few, but it was amazing to see how supportive the other Greeks were. We got flowers and cards from most house. Even though we never found the people who did it, we had support from Panhel, IFC and all the other sororities. A meeting was held to discuss the issue and a general response was created for any PNM that may have seen the words or questioned the incident. One positive thing that came from the negative was that our sisterhood was never stronger. We all came together and it showed that everyone loved the house and didn't care what other people wrote with chalk. At least our sisterhood can't be erased with water!

How come this isn't listed in a police blotter for your school?
