Frat, you probably don't need to listen to the radio at all if you are all that concerned about lyrics. I can think of plenty more songs that are worse than this one. Confessions (Parts 1&2) by Usher comes to mind. And I'm talking about subject content, not the expliciticy (you like that one, don't you :p) of the lyrics themselves.

I'm sure this has probably been stated SOMEWHERE in the thread, but.... almost HALF of us were conceived on some hip-smacking songs. I know my parents were rockin to some "Let's Get It On" back in 1973!

Shoutouts to Eddie Kendricks, the Godfather, Gladys Knight and Uncle Pee Wee for makin' that thang right!

I completely agree. I'm always in the monority on these things. But Ideal has a point, I basically keep my radio tuned to the gospel station. I can't stomach the idea of my 9 year old hearing much of what is being recorded and passed off as music now days.

See, now this is why I love this country, and GC. We can all agree to disagree. And, when you hear a song you don't like, you can just turn off the radio, or change the station.

I love that song, it be knockin in the club. But at the same time I like alot of songs like that. The song is about sex and the beat is tight but that doesn't mean I agree with being called a bitch or nigger. I agree that radio and tv has became a little more R-rated and soon nothing is going to be censored.

I agree and disagree. There are a lot of songs that I LOVE the beat to, but are "nasty" or "vulgar". I just make sure I lsten to them when my daughter is NOT around. But there are some songs that I liked the beat to, THEN I listened to the lyrics one day, and could not listen to it anymore, because they were over the top. I think you just have to exercise your personal preference right here and pick and choose.

Try some other genres too, all music that's good isn't full of explicit stuff.

well,

i hate to say, this song is on the air on the time and i really like it. i found myself rolling around the city with my head bouncing.

i still say it should not be on the radio but i like to listen to it in the privacy of my home.

on a related note: this morning on russ parr they gave a shout out to a couple that has been married 30 years. russ said, "we've been through all the crates, trying to find the right music to play to celebrate blah blah blah"
