This is a completely different question, but still deals with NPC. On Pitt's campus we have a National Panhellenic Association (which is also refered to as Panhellenic Assocication on Pitts website). What is the difference between NPC and NPA (PA)?
The NPC is the national group itself. PAs and PCs are the local campus version. So, for example, Gamma Phi Beta as a whole organization belongs to the NPC, and on your campus, our chapter would belong to the Panhellenic Association.

Right and also associations, per NPC guidelines, can accept non-NPC groups as members if they set-up their by-laws that way. Alumnae Panhellenic Associations can do they same. The guidelines are tighter if non-NPC members want to join the overall National Panhellenic Conference.
