I'm working on food service in the Kent Student Center (KSC for short) starting August 30th!

I just got hired by the local hospital as a marketing assistant. It's only for 6 weeks, but it pays pretty well and is great experience!

I started my new (and first) teaching job today!! I'm still alive so I'm doing ok!

I started my new job today working for the university! I had been unemployed since March, not counting my summer internship.

3rd campaign position since spring break that I've passed up.

Now if this had something to do with starting a new job or being promoted it might actually be on topic. Great job though not working.

I got my first legitimate offer this week and I'm seriously considering it. I would be a marketing manager for a publishing company. Still have other interviews next week, but I really like the offer letter (employees get their birthdays as a paid holiday!) and I have never felt so comfortable talking to prospective employers.

It's a little cheesy, but as I've has tons of interviews in the past week and a half, I am reminded of my sorority recruitment. I've been keeping a little notebook filled with my thoughts about the places, I studied their company mission and histories, I've prepared questions in my head to ask and answer, and I've been able to stress what is most important to me (a positive work environment where I'm busy, I enjoy the people and the work and I have a good work and life balance). Well, again, being reminded of sorority life, the moment I walked into ABC company, I felt "at home"-- that these people were like me.

So PNM's going through recruitment-- this experience will come back to haunt you later in life-- but in a good way! ;)

i should be hearing tomorrow about the position i applied for at a local vets office.
yeah that's right folks. i have a BS degree and i'm not using it. instead i want to be a secretary/vet assistant. something i can let go of at the end of the day. i don't want my job to consume my life.
wish me luck!

Interview for one job next Monday and test for another one on Tuesday... I hope to get the second one but both pay better than my current one...

I have another job interview on 9/13 for a place in Manhattan. It seems like it will be a really nice agency to work for, is a quick commute and I like working with the populations the agency serves. Plus, if I do decide to leave my current agency in the near future, I would be able to stay on as a P/T or Per-diem employee so I could pick up extra $$$ that way.

I was offered a job to work full time in a group home for the developmentally disabled! The house will open in the end of September. I am so excited!! :)

I just started a new job last Sunday :) I work at our local TV station on the morning show and noon news. It's a lot of fun, but the hours suck. I have to be there at 4am, but I get off at 1. I'm also the only female besides one of the anchors, so it's interesting.
