John 3:16 is generally just a code to let people know that the business is Christian-owned. Maybe it is because I live in the South, but I see businesses with John 3:16 on their signs all the time.

Considering it's just a shopping bag and not a PRODUCT, I am not particularly worried about non-Christians having to carry them around. They can just throw them away when they get home. And like aurora_borealis said, it's a possibility that the bag manufacturer is the John 3:16 company, not Forever 21.

I agree with the posters who said that Forever 21 is not necessarily synonymous with Christian values. Not that it's a horrible place, but the clothes aren't very modest. However, I think that's up to the business owner to decide, not me. I wouldn't specifically patronize or not patronize a business because of the John 3:16 mark. Others would, though.

I was in Forever 21 today and noticed that it's printed on the bottom of their bags. Its owner is very religious, according to one of the salesgirls.....so what does it mean??

Forever 21? Did you go there after doing some major damage at Wet Seal?

Actually like, no, I was buying my niece something totally raw for her fourteenth birthday, bro!
Why, did you finally get that job at 'the Seal'?

In middle school/high school and the first two years of college, I had 64 pen-pals around the world(long story). The one from Nigeria told me once in a letter to read John 3:16 to be a born-again Christian..............What others have said about this particular verse is correct, but when I see it, I think of her and her letter telling me to read that verse.

As for the other comments about Jesus clothing and what not.........probably best that I keep my opinions on the marketing of Jesus for making fast bucks to boost company profits to myself.......
