Here's one from Georgia:

Donkeys may not be kept in bathtubs

What I want to know is where did some of these laws come from?

Were lots of people in Georgia keeping donkeys in their bathtubs that it became a health or sfatey risk for themselves and other?

Were people in Florida riding their elephants to work and not paying for parking, thus causing the state to lose revenue?

Actually, don't most guys dig other positions?

Not that I'm an expert.

Didn't the sex in missionary position thing come from the church somewhere? Or was it that way back when these people weren't as "sexually liberated" as we are now (i.e. not liking a lot of different positions, not letting the woman tell the man what she liked, etc.)? I don't want to get into this huge discussion about sex, but it's my opinion that when these laws were made 1-people probably didn't talk about sex as openly as we do now, 2-there used to be a time when sex wasn't viewed as "pleasurable" for the woman (it was a sin), and 3-again, I think there was some kind of law from the church or something that made people think this was the only acceptable way to reproduce. Also, I'm pretty sure I learned somewhere along the way that in some religions oral sex is considered a sin - hence the laws prohibiting it.

Also, chances are, when these laws were passed, women may not have had the vote let alone the voice to speak out against a proposed law.

Did that make any sense?

I know there is a stupid law in the city of Pomona, CA that prohibits a house have more than 5 (something like that) girls as the tenants of a house, basically sorority houses are outlawed at my school and town...Great greek system huh?

I'll kindly remind myself to that law, as I am residing in Georgia and must abide the state laws.

Yeah you made sense.
From things I've read, missionary only was encouraged because it emphasized the male's domination over the female. Females were not supposed to be sexual instigators. It was just supposed to happen to squelch the man's desires and produce bebes. Also, it's been proven that conception happens more frequently if couples use that position. And of course, back in the day, sex was only for procreation.
I think I was born at just the right time. :)

There's a town in Oklahoma where it's illegal to use a hypnotized person in a window display.

In NYC:

Women may go topless in public, providing it is not being used as a business.

It is illegal for a woman to be on the street wearing "body hugging clothing."

So it's not ok for me to wear a tight fitting blouse, but I can resolve the problem by taking it off? :p

And I'm sooo glad there are no "missionary position only" laws around here. ;)

Me fucking too! Had I been alive back then, they would have locked me up and thrown the key away.;)

They still have women dressed in bikini's that sell hot dogs on the side of the street here in Tampa. It's one woman and she does it on Gandy Blvd. - St. Pete side. :) I used to see her everyday on my way home.
