not a guy, but there were 3 chicks back in college i wanted to date seriously.....my current girlfriend is one of them.

Okay, this was freshman year in the early fall. The leaves were still green, but some were starting to change colors. It was cool enough to wear jeans or shorts, but usually with t shirts, not time for sweaters yet.

On the steps in front of Porterfield hall, looking over at trees, me and this girl, Bethany, for no other name could substitute, and I were talking about things. Random things at first, and then we started talking about our first times, etc. And then the perfect way to fall in love. So we lean in to kiss each other. Right by the door was a stack of newspapers. So Jordan, a mutual friend comes out to get one right as we are about to kiss. Jordan sees she is interupting something so leaves, but Bethany realizes she is late for work. We make plans to see each other the following day. Well that night or the next day before I see her she checks her email. And it is her ex, who, after about a month or so of not even talking to her, sends through email "hey baby I miss you." He had moved from VA to CA and hadn't spoken to her since. Doesn't even call just sends email. And anyway, he being a grad at the top his class from UVA law and Bethany being some five years my seinor, he wins her. :(

Yup, my first love, my college sweetheart was the one that got away. Even though I am married, I still think about him from time to time. You never forget your first love, ya know!

So yesterday a guy I dated a bit almost two years ago e-mailed me out of the blue. Haven't thought about him in a long time...

One night I met a cheerleader at the ATM. I invited her to my house because we were having a party. We had a great time. We had alot in common. She was in love with me and I was in love with me too. It was perfect. At the end of the night we agreed to get together the next day. We were going to have sex. At least that was the plan or I should say my plan.

The next day I was on campus and I spotted the cheerleader. I started walking toward her and she was walking toward me. The only thing missing was Chariots of Fire music in the background. As we started getting closer my girlfriend comes out of nowhere and is standing between and the cheerleader. I should have chose the cheerleader.
