I don't know much about the camp....he goes to a private school, so I'm guessing the school is putting it together for a summer-fun program. I asked if I could be a counselor. I was told no. :( Little kids have all the fun.

Besides the camp, there are all those educational lecture symposium things going on. There is one in Las Vegas at some point, one in England next year I believe, and the Witching Hour in Salem, MA in October 2005, which I will definitely be at!
So is anyone going to the midnight showing of the movie? I work with one of the women planning the line party here in Boston, so I should be. I don't know if I'll be able to function at work the next day though! |
I will definitely be there on opening day, as I was with the other two movies!! I need to read POA again before then to refresh my memory.:)

I will be there Friday night for sure. I would go at midnight on the 3rd/4th but I will render useless at work the next morning. |
So for the next HP movie, are they still using all of the same actors? JKR needs to get going on the last two books if they expect to use the same kids for too much longer as they are growing so quickly! I can't imagine a 21 year old Daniel Radcliffe wanting to continue to play HP...but who knows.
I can't wait...I was even thinking about calling in a sub to work that day so I can go see it, but I guess that I can just wait until after work and buy my tickets online or something. =P |

I'm really really hoping that they're not true, because I think that that would just be silly. Daniel Radcliffe and co. do such a great job. About the kids being like 21 and still playing the roles...I think they could do it. When you look at current teen-style movies, you get a lot of actors and actresses who are that age and even older playing kids who are in high school. It's completely possible to pull it off. If the producers keep on their schedule of roughly one movie per year or year and a half, the kids shouldn't be that much older than the characters they play by the time the movies are finished, anyway. And they better keep to that schedule!!! I'm soooo excited about the third one coming out. One friend and I act like freaks every time a preview comes on for it, and embarrass our other friends. :D |
One rumor I heard (though I wouldn't believe it because i am 0/2 on this thread already...) is that Daniel and co signed on for at least the 4th movie. Don't know about the other ones.
And did anyone see Matchstick Men? With Nick Cage? The girl that played "his daughter" is actually in her mid 20s or so but had to play a 14 year old. (That I remember reading in Cosmo.) So it is possible for these kids to play younger roles. |

I was just looking at pictures on mugglenet, and if you compare recent publicity photos of the kids with still shots from the upcoming movie, they look totally different! Very much older in the publicity shots (you know, makeup and styling and all that), much younger and childlike in the movie stills. I think it's totally possible to keep the same kids throughout and just make them look younger with makeup and stuff. But there are still those rumors...grrr. |

OMG I am soooooo excited for the movie to come out. I think it looks like its going to be more "epic" than the past two, which I am happy about. I'm glad that they are switching up directors so we get to see different takes on each of the stories (the 4th one has a different director than the 3rd). The same actors are signed on for the 4th movie.
I sure hope the rumors are true that the 6th book will be coming soon!!! |
Am I the only one who thought this was about Harry Potter getting a Piece O Ass?
