Wow, this is the first I've seen of this thread and I am so sorry this is happening to you! That makes me so mad when some freakazoid is going around terrorizing women (not to mention one of my sisters)
I am sure he will be caught soon; he seems too bold and cocky not to be. Meanwhile, I hope you're taking everyone else's good advice and having someone stay with you or are staying elsewhere until your roomie comes back. And, like James said, please post when you can! |
Scary...
You really should talk to the police about having 24-hour surveillance - they would probably consider doing it in this situation. And definitely do not go anywhere alone - EVER!!! Even if the police do agree to monitor your building continuously, you should still have company stay with you and go with you when you leave. Good luck. |
Cut me a break lady. So I like to wear pantyhose over my face, watch you dress, and occasionally smell your shoes when you're not home. Stop judging me!

Well tonight has been quiet so far. I bought some curtains for my windows.... they just had blinds before. I feel a lot more secure with the alarms on the windows and the door. At least I'll hear if he tries breaking in. My neighbors upstairs (2 guys) are absolutely amazing. They actually stayed home tonight instead of going out partying in case the guy came back. And, lol, they partied out on their porch so if he came back he'd definitely see them and they would see him. Those guys rock my socks. They even bought me pepper spray. Well actually mace is illegal in NC so they bought me "dog repellant." :) And they've started parking their big trucks in front of my bedroom window so that the guy can't park there. I think I'm going to marry them both. :)
If something happens tonight I'm most definitely going to stay in a hotel tomorrow or something. Many of my sisters went home for the summer and the few that are still here are graduating tomorrow so they are busy with their families that are in town. But I did okay today. I ran all my errands and when it started getting dark I came home and locked all the doors and closed the blinds. It's like having my own little prison which sucks. But oh well. I rented like 5 movies from Blockbuster and my boyfriend stayed home to talk to me on the phone all night. Thanks everyone! I'll keep you updated! |
oh sweetie...i am so sorry.
take better than good care of yourself. and stay in touch with the police a bunch. |
What everybody else said! I hope you're staying safe and that those guys upstairs are taking good care of you. :) Just be careful.

I agree with James please check in to greekchat at least twice a day when possible to let us know you're okay. Also, you should have an arrangement with your boyfriend or another friend that if you dont call by certain times that they call your neighbors or the police to check on you. |
Any updates? I hope that all is well.

Well, my roommate and I moved in June and everything's fine now!! We live on the 3rd floor in a nicer apartment complex. :)
|
Oh great! I thought of you today, and I hoped that awful situation was resolved. Enjoy your new home!

PS- glad everything is better. I've had co-workers that I've had to walk out to their cars after dark because of strange stalking guys. |
