Newest Website

I created a new website for all those new to the Atlanta and surrounding areas to get to know each other and find out what the happenings are in those areas. I know some Sorors and Frats didnt even know about the Greek Picnic 3 weeks ago.

I think this is an excellent way to network. Check it out!

Soror,

This particular thread is for Alpha chapter websites only. Have you posted your site in our forum?

This is USC's chapter. I don't like the new setup, it looks kinda 'junky' on the first page...but check them out. Oh...and check out 'virtual bruh', that's a trip.

Just thought I'd bump this back up, the set up has changed

hey frat

Where did those statistics come from?

Alpha Phi Alpha Facts:
60% of all Black Male Doctors are Alpha Men.
65% of all Black Male Dentists are Alpha Men.
75% of all Black Male Lawyers are Alpha Men.
95% of all Black Colleges have been headed by Alpha Men.

Facts don't lie.......

Please do not take these comments as boasting, as they are meant to be presented here with the utmost humbleness and confidence.

... then again, I would say that since I designed it! ;)

By popular demand, I have re-posted this site (it no longer lives on the original server.)

My question exactly.
1. It is IMPOSSIBLE to verify the fraternal or non-fraternal affliations of any large group of men, such as Doctors, Lawyers or Dentists. The only verifiable stat is the head of Black Colleges, and even that is questionable. Does that mean at some point in time in the past or present ? Well, then maybe.
2. Interestingly enough, the Alphas at my undergrad institution were pumping these exact same stats, and that was back in 1990.

If the stats were changed to say "Of all fraternal men, % are Alphas", that would sound a lot more reasonable.

Reality

That would be a good point except the statistics are cross referenced from national numbers so the total number of Black doctors (numerically) and the number of men that are men of Alpha that have answered teh decade survery (last stated in 2000) are the % that make up the doctors that are Alpha men so the stat is actually accurate until 06 when we take the next great survey. After that the numbers most likely will change due to the fact of the decline of members in NPHC orgnizations.
