Small update
 

I heard back from the chapter I found on the internet the day I emailed the contact. She passed my info onto their VP.

So (at least) 2 ROJ chapters have contact info for me, but no word from either yet.

Patience is a virtue.......

Hi ladies,

I got through to Internationals today, had a very nice president with the rush department, and I was told my packet for contact info would be in the mail by this weekend. YEAHHHHHH!!!! So hopefully somethin will be in the works for me soon. but like amgn253 says: "Patience is a VIRTUE" ;)

Another update-

I spoke on the phone with a very nice lady who got my name and number from Int'l. She recommended a few ROJ chapters in her city council. She said she would drop my name at an event that happened this past weekend. One of the chapters she recommended was the one I found online! I have already emailed them, so I guess the waiting game continues!!

I received a letter yesterday from the VP of a ROJ chapter and they invited me to their May 13 meeting!!! I think they are a career chapter (the letter says they meet once a month and have a social once a month). I'm so excited, a little nervous too! :D

Don't worry about it -- have fun and enjoy yourself.:)
