Consignment shops are wonderful for bridge and designer handbag deals, if they have a good reputation and are reliable. There are a couple out here in Kollyfornia that I've found good stuff for. For instance, I have my only Gucci, a brown leather bamboo-handle hobo, from a consigner. Cost me less than $50 and it is authentic.:D At another consigner, a similar bag was more than $400.:eek:

The places I go to also sell fakes/replicas, but they clearly mark them and I appreciate that.

I must admit those bags are cute, but I can't spend that much for a bag. I believe my mother would beat me down for spending that much on a bag and not putting my money in savings. I wouldn't blame. I guess if the price is right and the bag is cute I would buy it, but 200 buck on a purse is still a bit much for me. Even if I wasn't broke...;)

I have been out of the loop for a minute, I just got back from my first Regional! I ordered ANOTHER bag, a Christian Dior Saddle bag from www.everydayluxury.com, and it is beautiful too!

Now they have Christian Dior and Gucci.
Has anyone else seen that site? A few ladies that use my hairdresser got some stuff too. I know y'all are sick of me, but the site really has good stuff!

i have several LVs (w/an eye on the next one) and they are worth it. if you can find one on Ebay, in a consignment shop, at an estate sale, whateverr, it's worth it. the bags last a long time (the oldest is 17 ). the fakes, not into those but i'd rather someone pay good money for real versus very little for a fake. remember if you pay $ 20.00, you'll get $ 20.00's worth'a use;)
