I'd wanna play Tionne in BELLY, so I'd get to lay up next to NAS,and be all up in his grill, and ...

The character that most reflects my personality would be Lisa (Eddie Murphy's love interest) in Coming To America. I would have married the goat herder.

angela bassett...in what's love got to do with it...
|
Monica Calhoun's character, Mia, in The Best Man.
|
I would have to choose Julia Roberts (Vivian) in Pretty Woman. "Wake up, time to shop!" Oh, that must be the life.
(Ignore the fact that she was a prostitute, only pay attention to the fact that she was swept off her feet by a generous man!) http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif |
Ok, one more. Angela Bassett in How Stella Got Her Groove Back. Yeah, definitely. But not necessarily with Taye Diggs. Dang, I'm re-writin' the movie, lol.

Off the top of my head, I would say Lynne Whitfield in Stompin' At the Savoy. She is a woman who had a vision and went after it; a lady with ambition. I am focused lady with ambition, integritiy and tenacity all of which Lynne eximplified in her role. As she aged, she became more refined and beautiful; as I see myself doing. Although this is one MAJOR side of who I am, the other is a pretty, sweet-voice lady with overflowing love for my boyfriend of whom I one day will marry and have children with, and be a loving wife & mom like Phylisha Rashad in the Cosby Show.

I would have to say Halle Berry's character in Swordfish because:
1. I liked her clothes 2. She had my fantasy car (the red Jaguar in the beginning) 3. It would be fun to play the bad girl http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif ------------------ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort & convience, but where he stands at times of challenge & controversy --Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
Nia Long's character in Love Jones
and Halle Berry's character in The Rich Man's Wife and Sharon Stone's character in Basic Instinct Delete the lesbian scenes. |
Definitely "Justice" in Poetic Justice or Vanessa L. Williams character in Soul Food (the movie) http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

I would also play (because I'm watching it now)
Karyn Parsons ~ Mixing Nia ~ She plays a yuppie with a white father and a black mother who quits her job as a successful copy writer at an ad agency to search for her racial identity. |
Omar Epps'(Quincy) part in "Love and Basketball"
Taye Diggs'{Harper} part in "The Best Man" Mekhi Phifer's(Lem) part in "Soul Food" MMMM....Sanaa and Nia...... http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif |
I would be the Nia Long person in Love Jones cause I am a sucker for a sweet poem and the possiblity of love. I would also be Julia Roberts and Meg Ryan in all of their movies. They are the best.
