Bro, I hope that he doesn't expect anything serious to come of this relationship. I'd never want to go though anything long-term with someone that starts cheating as soon as it's not a perfect relationship.

All relationships have their crappy moments. Theirs will come. The question he needs to ask himself is, where will she be?

I never felt bad for the briefest second being with someone already taken. Why would I? FRankly I am dissapointed in you that you would second guess yourself that way.

I have never actually cheated myself, and I don't consider being with someone else that is committed an off shoot of cheating.

Oh, and all those of you that have kissed/hooked with other people while in a relationship are cheaters also, no matter what you tell yourselves :D

Men who are married and still love their wives cheat all the time.....it's purely sexual, they are not in it for anything but the physical gratification, and to them it is totally understandable how they could love one woman and bang another. Well, guess what? Women do this too. I would be willing to bet that the marriage between GI Joe and GI Hoe is just fine, but he is away and she was horny and (probably) intoxicated. Also, many married women in their late 20s, early 30s need reassurance that they are still "hot" once in a while. I live in a college town and there are so many fine young things prancing around, it definitely is a pleasurable stroke to my vanity when young guys look at me "that way." I expect middle-aged men to do it because to them, I am still a fine young thing....but when a guy 8 to 10 years younger thinks you're attractive it is totally different. The buddy who got lucky felt apprehensive for a reason.....because he knows that if HE were the husband and he found out his wife had done this, whether it was her fault or not he would beat the ever lovin' shit out of the little snot who got on his woman. If this guy comes back from Iraq or wherever he is and finds out, he'll probably do the same thing even if he ditches her. This woman played this guy to get laid....she sensed his apprehension and played the "I'm married but not happily so" card to get what she wanted.

Having been friends with someone in a decaying marriage, I just have to say that if the woman's marriage was that horrible, she WOULDN'T have had the ring on when she went out. That's the first thing my friend did, stopped wearing her ring because she didn't feel married anymore, emotionally.

But in Kitso's friend's case I think she was just a horny hobag. She probably called hubby and made kissy face noises the next day. He should have walked away, but since the deed is done, he can send hubby an anonymous letter instead. That should cleanse his conscience.

I'm sorry, I'm still looking over my post trying to figure out where I said I myself cheated.

My husband is a psychoand he's not afraid to admit it. If I cheated on him he would probably chain me to a stool and peel the skin off of my entire body 1 cubic inch at a time with safety scissors. Then he would go out and find the guy and make him cry for his mama before he put him out of his misery. I have no desire to cheat but if I ever did, even for a moment, the knowledge of what would happen would be more than enough to dissuade me! :eek:

Why in hell's name anyone would want to go out with someone already in a relationship is hard to see - if they cheat on him/her why on earth wouldn't you think they'll cheat on you in their usual morally bankrupt manner!
And as for just hooking up with someone in a relationship as your designated **** - the reason people don't do it is called integrity and if you wanna be a home wrecker then you're not a very pleasant person are you?

I get hit on by cougars all the time working at the hotel, same with the other bellmen my age, it's nothing unusual.
