A few weeks ago I attended a conference (for work) the opening speaker was a motivational speaker out of Atlanta. He was excellent - his name was Earl Suttle. These were some quotes I wrote down from his presentation some may be his and some may be from other souces...but they were worth writing. They were job related but you can apply them to life too.

1. Learn to do more than what you are paid for - you will eventually get paid for more than what you do.

2. If you want to be happy...
for an hour...take a nap.
for a day...spend it doing something you like to do.
for a week...take a vacation.
for a month...get married.
for a year...win the lottery.
for a life...enjoy what you do.

3. To be successful/happy learn to work harder on yourself than your job.

4. Working hard on your job you can earn a pretty good living - work harder on self and earn a fortune.

5. There is pain with change and there is pain with remaining the same....choose the one that moves you forward.

6. Do you get up and say..."Good morning Lord." or do you say..."Good Lord!..it's Morning!" ????? http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

One of my all time faves is...

If I needed to deal with this sh*t... I'd have been born with a shovel in my hand.

**What I derive from it**
Don't send yourself through unnecessary ails (and don't allow anyone else to). Come out of the muck and mire of life, because you don't have to spend your time there...

Another fave of mine is in my signature below... http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif
