lol. I own the book but I haven't got around to reading it yet. I've heard it one of those "you'll love it, or hate it" novels.

I would recommend: Stephanie Nolen's Promised the Moon: The Untold Story of the First Women in the Space Race . It uncovers the role women played (and almost played) in the space race.

I think this quote from the novel is very telling: But, above all else, the story of these extraordinary women, who ignored traditional roles, defied convention and broke through barriers is a tale of the painful, destructive experience of being caught on the cusp of social change. .

There are other novels that have come out since this one, but this is the first novel on the topic, and from the people who have read the others, it is the best.

my backed up reading list that I really want to get to:

finish the da vinci code

read south beach diet ( not really a pure read but informative)

tuesdays with morrie and
5 ppl youll meet in heaven.


i am going on road trip with my mom end of the month to sacramento so i plan on reading in car if anothing i will finish da vinci code! its my mission.
