I was thinking the same thing. Anytime Sharpton beats a candidate, he should automatiacally be forced to drop out of the race. Maybe its just because I'm from the NYC Metro area and grew up seeing his face plastered everytime Sharpton wanted attention; or maybe its because Sharpton called my brother, an NYPD officer, a racist when he arrested both a white and black guy for starting a fight; or maybe I just don't like Sharpton's hair, but I have absolutly no respect for this man. Whatever cause he once had, it has been clouded by his attempts for media attention.

I agree that Liberman's drop out was in good judgement, and he did it well.

Wow the gallop poll they showed on the nbc news had Kerry defeating Bush if the election was held today. I guess this Kay and Tenet stuff if really hurting him. They said Bush is going to start campaigning against the democrats earlier than he planned now. I hope Kerry's popularity now carrys over til election day.

oh, ivory.....i still have my john edwards sticker you gave me!!! LOL.....i was expecting him to be the frontrunner, too.....don't really know why. after hearing ivory talk about him, he seemed like a good democratic (and presidential) candidate. i was surprised that kerry was doing so well initially. i kind of still am, but whatevs. if i was kerry, i would pick edwards over clark....i know just by joining forces right now doesn't automatically mean it'll be a kerry/clark ticket, but still. that's my republican un-biased opinion. he'd do better with edwards.

i still see bush as the last man standing (gotta represent my dubya lovin' booty) ;), but as far as dem candidates, for now it does look very kerry. i'm confused about this clark guy, though. a lot of the candidates were saying he was more republican than democrat (this was stated while i was watching the NH debates), so this new alliance or whatever with kerry is odd to me. i think he's just doing it so he doesn't get kicked off the presidential island.

we'll see. i'm excited about this election year!

I think if Edwards stays involved, he will be a good future candidate. He simply doesn't have experience and was portrayed too much as an ambulance chaser lawyer. One term as an elected official wasn't enough for him to overcome better known names. I'd still love to see him as a VP though. Or, if there ends up being any truth to the information posted in the Kerry thread, he could still be in the running.
