I personally think the 5 and 7 series BMW are way to big and I have no use for them.

OK :)

I don't have a luxury car, but I do own my dream car--a 2003 silver New Beetle. It's so cute :)

German cars are the best, IMO.

one word: AUDI

they are the best cars that i have ever driven or owned- my family has 3 of them- and 2 are 87 quattros- ones a sport- and the other is the 2001 A6 wagon

if you live in a snowy area- they are AMAZING in the snow and in teh summer- get a sun roof- they are a blast to drive no matter when- i wouldn't give up my quattro except for antoher audi

they are pretty expensive- but they will last 15 years if you keep them up... better than american cars that die off in 7...

i like hondas though not "luxery" they are well made and will last a long time

I have owned two bmw 325's. One was totalled in an accident that I WALKED away from w/ minor injuries. That convinced me to get the second one. While repairs can be pricey, I have found that once you fix somethign once [ie get a new transmission] you won't have to fix it again. My mom had a chrysler that kept needing to go in for the same problem, again, and again, and again -differnt shops and no one could fix it:rolleyes:

I adore the 3's for their sporty feel, great acceleration and pure driving pleasure. I have also driven a 5 [taught a pal how to drive stick on his own car:p ], and the 6 and the 740 [ my uncle let me test drive his :D ].

For anyone who enjoys driving, I highly recommend taking the 740 for a spin. It is a big car, but, it was amazing. I get all tingly just thinking about it. :D The car is very responsive, and easy to maneuver despite the size.

I've also driven a few Benz's that friends have owned. Overall, if you're a driver, get a BMW. If you want to drive a luxury car, but don't really enjoy driving, buy a Benz.

i drive a pathfinder and the girl i carpool with drives the mercedes suv.

her car was like $15k more than mine. i think it's much uglier on the outside and the inside is nothing special. her heated seats blew and she was getting shocked through her seat onto her butt. it also burned a hole through the leather--this was 2 months into having it. luckily her dad works for MB so they are taking care of it quickly, but it still sucks.

my car may not be "luxury" but damn, i'm in love with all it has!

No one would consider my Honda Odyssey a lux mobile, despite the leather interior and $40K price tag. But then most of you don't have two kids under 5. Power sliding doors RULE!
