For those who have seen it- was the negative portrayal of the Greek system AT ALL necessary??! I just didn't see how it at all helped the story line, or how is was needed in the plot??

my best friend went to see it with me and he is kinda anti - greek ("it's just not for me") and that didnt help my cause at all. i enjoyed seeing him say the greek alphabet sssoooooooo fast!! i laughed at that!! hehe...and i liked when she said "i would never be in a sorority"...i laughed there cause that line just didnt fit there....lol...

i really liked the movie though and i want to rent it and watch it again at home!!

it should be interesting to see his work in this one, as he was cast against type. Sometimes works sometimes bites in the ass, but critics=failed writers so reviews hold less water than a broken rain gutter.

LOL .. . . kind of like those that can: do, those that can't: teach?

And those that can't teach: administer?

I saw the movie tonight. I liked it. I was rather impressed with Ashton Kutcher's performance. He wasn't great...and yes, he does run like a girl...that was rather funny.
But all in all I thought it was a good movie. If Ashton keeps getting dramatic roles I really think he can move away from his goofball stereotype and turn into a really good actor.

I read somewhere that Demi was paying for him to go to some top acting coaches. He supposedly wants to get into action movies. I can just picture it now: "Dude. Throw that $hit down or I'll bust your ass. Seriously."

I saw this with my buddy at his place (downloaded through t.v. output). It was good, better than i expected. I think ashton was good, not as a serious-type, but because he always has that confused/dumbfounded look.
