But you did hate one. :p |
high school - sophmore english- we had to write two pages in our jounral everyday. 1 page on a topic he gave us and the second on what ever. So I know I scared him and I got bored and wrote things like "will I ever have a reason to live" or " black sunshine in my eyes, black sunshine never dies"
I ended up in the councils office who was shocked becuase I was her favorite in Art and was in every stupid club she was head over!... Plus my teacher look like Tom Green, really creepy. Plus math. College- Math |
High School - Chemistry. I couldn't get higher than a C+, plus that was the only class where I failed the Regents exam (by a measly 4 points, ARGH!!!!).
College: Calculus - All my academic life I got nothing but A's in math. Then came calculus and it made me feel like such a dummy. Took about 2 times to get it right with a C. Finance Law of Business Organizations Law of Business Contracts Accounting Finance Pretty much most of my courses during the first two years of college. :o |
Econ, Stat, Comp Sci -- basically the areas of study I never understood in high school which led me to be a journalism major.
|
In high school the worst class was anatomy and physiology. In college it is definitely financial accounting. I am back for round 2 in that one.
|
High School: Geometry and Chemistry . . . Mrs. Tarver quickly made me rethink the whole premed major. Damn her and that beehive she wore for 6 months.
College: STATS, Psych Testing, and Intro to Ethics (philosophy class). Bad part about that class was I worked for the History and Philosophy department. I would skip class and go to work. The prof was the chair of the department. I should have known the class would be garbage because that man was boring just picking up his mail. |
High School: Chemistry *gag* I still hate that subject due to that stupid teacher.
College: Math for Educators I, this class was all about -how- you got to the answer and why that answer is really the answer, he didn't even care if you got the answer correct! Drove me nuts!! Plus, do 6th graders really need to add 1+1 in cuneiform?????  |
1) Linear Systems Analysis - I got a 29%. Lowest passing grade was a 20%. WTF?!? (BTW, this class was the reason I switched out of EE).
2) Modern Physics (i.e., special rel, etc) - I'm not a physicist. I never will be a physicist. In fact, 6 years after I took the class, even though I got a B, I can't remember any of the material enough to be competent at it. A complete waste of my time. Other than that, the rest of my classes were OK at worst. |
:( Why did everyone hate chemistry? :( Just kidding!
I hated Physical Chemistry in college, but managed to push my way through it to graduate. And let me tell you, I NEVER use that information in any of the work I do daily. Infact, I don't know any chemists that do! I also hated my history class. Or actually the professor. Shame we got him fired after teaching for only one semester! :p |
Least favorite class? Without a doubt-- Math 101.. after taking Trig and PreCal in HS, I thought this class would be a cakewalk. WRONG! This was the 'General' Math class and required for nursing majors. I would have preferred taking Calculus-- this class made nooooooo sense.
Second least favorite class: Microbiology. Now that I've been in practice for a few years, I'd love to go back and take a real good Micro class because this wasn't it. I still remember one of the profs (it was team taught, and was over at the medical school but their faculty) saying to us "As you learned in your undergraduate microbiology studies..." At least one brave soul had the guts to raise her hand and say "this IS our undergraduate course, so could you please explain that again. This time in English." |
Highschool: Every single math class. That's why I dropped math after grade 11 (we still had OAC at the time...thank god I could drop math)
University: Macroeconomics...the prof was pure evil. She was the devil herself, Stats...it made me drop out of psychology, but the prof was cool. |
