I don't care for Tisha Campbell either. She just rubs me the wrong way. Something about her, I don't know what it is. She was really having a bad hair day. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/eek.gif That "do" just does not work. I hope that changes. I didn't know she was pregnant but I did notice the weight change between the first and second episode. She even asked Damon about her weight at the beginning of the second episode. Now I'm getting it...

I thought the show had its moments. I liked the part when the son tells Damon he didn't lie to them because they asked if he had "a" tatoo and he said no because he has two, not one. Then Damon was like, "OK, Bill Clinton." That got a laugh out of me.

I didn't watch it but the promo's peaked my interest. How was it? Man, I wanted to tape it but forgot. I watched "Boot Camp" instead. Let's not even go there....

I'm not sure I even want to watch this sit. com. because I feel it's nothing but a replacement of the Hughleys.

They canceled the Hughleys because they didn't like D.L. and now they are trying to get back the audience they lost as a result of the show moving to a different network.

ABC should stand for "A Bunch of Crap"

Serenity, I usually watch "Who's Line Is It Anyway" but I've never seen Drew's show. Although I didn't see the entire April Fool's episode (yep, I didn't want to miss "Boot Camp" so I feel ya), I got a few laughs.

One moment the camera was on the cast, then the next moment, Gary Coleman is acting Drew's part, Jimmy Walker (JJ from "Good Times") was someone else, Kim Fields was wearing a blond wig as the female character, and the black guy from "Designing Women" was someone else. I think Thea was playing Mimi's character, but I'm not sure.

I noticed pictures hanging upside down one minute, and turned around the next. In the opening credits, they slipped in stuff from old tv shows like "Welcome Back, Kotter" and the show from ABC with Cousin Larry and the cousin from Russia(?). It was kind of cute, but you had to have a good eye to find all the things wrong with the episode. You would have to be a regular.

Thanks for the summary, AKAtude! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif Wow! Now I am racking my brain trying to remember the name of that show. I remember the cousin's name was Balki and he used to always say, "don't be ridiculous." Was it "Perfect Strangers"? http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/confused.gif

Anyway, sounds like it was funny.

Is anyone still watching the show?

quietstorm23 05-01-2001 10:22 AM

I am. get a few good laughs in like the second episode last week when the son got a muscle spasm in his penis from 'using' it too much.

CrimsonTide4 05-01-2001 10:41 AM

I was http://www.plauder-smilies.de/rofl.gif http://www.plauder-smilies.de/rofl.gif at his spasms.

As I said in the DST forum, I like it. Sure there are kinks to work out just like in most shows but I will continue to support it because it shows an intact family. I love the youngest daughter. I agree it is great to see G all grown up.

My sentiments exactly. That is why some episodes of Steve Harvey I cannot stand because of LYDIA LIZA GUTMAN. http://www.plauder-smilies.de/angryfire.gif I miss Sophia and the other girl from the first season. Why do we have to add? I have a feeling that it might be bounced to WB or UPN as well in later seasons if more Blacks don't support it.
